High Definition Real Time Multi Media Content Testing Theaters
Custom designed exclusively by ASI, the High Definition Media
Testing Theaters are widely considered the most comprehensive audience research system for Television
content and ASI testing theaters have been used by virtually every major content production company and network
since ASI started dial testing in the 1960's. Our current dial includes a numeric keypad as well as additional
buttons for representing specified behaviors including tune-out or purchase, guilty or innocent, fast forward (skip
commercial), pause, and other PVR
emulation or research metrics as per your design requirements.
Not only does ASI have the long cycle dial norms and
understanding of what they mean, we have the most advanced high definition real time
content testing theaters which are centrally located to many of Sourthern California's leading studios, in the
greater Los Angeles area, in North Hollywood, California.
The ASI advanced theaters are equipped with Surround
Sound and cutting-edge high definition projection and video systems.
Each of theater has specially designed chairs equipped with our ASI industry standard dial for
gathering real-time audience reaction second-by-second and is wired to handle individual monitors, computers and
headsets. ASI's dials are based on the same biometrics as were employed from the earliest
days when ASI was a division of Columbia Pictures and that means that while our dials have
evolved technologically, the data gathered is consistent over half a century and thus our norms
and our analysists can provide insights that no other organization can provide for Television Program
testing and content elements of any video including advertising.
ASI's Theaters are fully equipped with high definition / blu
ray video presentation capability and supports lower resolution as required. Additionally
the theaters have a supperior 5.1 surround system but can support stereo or mono content if required.
ASI's theaters can put out sound quality on par with most movie theaters and the theaters can also support
advanced projectors for movie and movie trailer testing.
